Sixth FormWelcome to The Ridings’ Federation of Academies Sixth Form. This unique and independent Sixth Form provides courses for over 500 students across both Academies. Whilst you will be studying your Sixth Form courses on your individual site, opportunities to access a range of additional courses across both Academies will also be available. A variety of Level 3 learning pathways and qualifications is available to you, including A Levels, the International Baccalaureate Diploma, Vocational qualifications there will also be opportunities for further study at level 2 and Level 1. Your time in our Sixth Form will be enriched by participation in community projects through the International Baccalaureate, Community Action Service (CAS) Programme. This aspect of life in the Sixth Form is not only about getting involved in the community but is also a unique opportunity for ALL students to become involved in the international ethos of the Federation and the Academy in which you will study. This is an exciting time to be joining The Ridings’ Federation of Academies Sixth Form with unique opportunities to access national and international qualifications. During your Sixth Form studies you can expect to be taught by outstanding teachers who will inspire you and prepare you for the ever-changing demands of the 21st Century. The design of your curriculum will be such as to ensure that you leave with those unique characteristics of a global citizen providing you with a distinctive edge over others to take advantage of opportunities of Higher Education or employment either in this country or internationally.
